Imagined Audiences
I was a journalist, and now I research journalism.
I'm an assistant professor at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University and a fellow with the Tow Center for Digital Journalism at Columbia University.
My research looks at the relationship between journalism and the public.
My book, Imagined Audiences: How Journalists Perceive and Pursue the Public, is now available for pre-order.
Iām also the co-founder of Engaged Journalism Exchange, a series of gatherings that aim to bridge the divide between journalism scholars and innovators.
